Bio
Steve Yaklin has been practicing commercial litigation since 1990. He spent his first 17 years of his career at the Marietta law firm of Brock & Clay, where he became a Shareholder in 1996, and served as the Firm's Managing Shareholder in 2006. In August of 2007 he left Brock & Clay to found King & Yaklin, L.L.P. with his law school classmate Russell D. King.
In addition to his civil litigation practice, Steve has served as the Chief Judge for the Municipal Court for the City of Powder Springs since 1994, and was appointed as the Chief Judge for the Municipal Court for the City of Woodstock in September of 2010. He has also served as an Associate Judge for the Marietta Municipal Court since 1997. Additionally, Steve has served as a mediator and arbitrator in civil cases in Cobb and Fulton Counties.
