Collin is a Marietta native. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011, where he received his B.S. in political science with honors. Collin later earned his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. While at Cumberland, Collin was heavily involved in the Trial Advocacy program, serving as a member of Cumberland's Nation Trial Team, and as a Director on the Trial Advocacy Board. Collin was also a Research and Writing Editor on the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, in which he has been published twice. Collin also served as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow for Cumberland's Lawyering and Legal Reasoning Program.

Collin is currently licensed to practice law in Georgia and Alabama, and his focus is in general litigation. He has experience in various types of contract, business, construction, and insurance coverage litigation, as well as shareholder disputes and corporate breakups, land disputes, post-judgment litigation, and litigation regarding wills, trusts, and estates.
