Barbara B. King
Having grown up right off the square in downtown Marietta, Barbara is a true Marietta native. She is a 1988 Marietta High School graduate and obtained her Bachelor of Science in 1993 from Georgia Southern University. After graduating she began working as the Assistant Chief Probation Officer at Georgia Probation Management in Cherokee County, Georgia. After several years of working she decided to get her Juris Doctorate. She attended John Marshall Law School's night program while continuing to work full time. After graduating from law school in 1999 she clerked for the Honorable A. Harris Adams for several years before taking time off to raise her three children Madeleine Berry Malone age 17, Emilie Grace Malone, age 15 and Rosser Adams Malone, Jr. age 14.
Barbara is active in political organizations as well as her community by supporting many charitable organizations.
Barbara's legal memberships include the State Bar of Georgia, Cobb County Bar Association, The Marietta Lawyers Club and Southern Trial Lawyers Association.
